An assorted dog group, utility dogs don’t fit the criteria for any of the other breed groups. They were once bred to perform specific working roles, but those jobs became obsolete. Utility dogs come from a non-sporting lineage and are some of the most beloved breeds. Given the wide range of breeds, they have the same breadth of personality, temperament, characteristics and coat colours.
