Working dogs, as opposed to companion dogs, were bred to perform practical tasks such as pulling sleds, search and rescue or guide dogs. These dogs range in size but are often medium to very large and fairly active. They have plenty of stamina and are always ready to work which also makes them brilliant watch dogs.
